My best friend Marianne is about 8 1/2 months pregnant and throughout her pregnancy we’ve been discussing ideas for photos we wanted to get of her when she was nice and blooming. We scheduled a date a couple of weekends ago, crossing our fingers it would be good weather, as most of the photos were planned for outdoors. The morning she was driving down it was torrential rain… we had to rethink and come up with some new ideas quickly. After a quick squizz around my flat looking for well lit spots and thinking of simpler ideas we could do indoors Maz arrived and we proceeded to have a lovely long relaxed lazy day indoors, drinking tea, looking for ideas online and occasionally taking a photo. Turns out we got a lovely set of photos at the end of the day - a nice mix of sweet and wholesome through to sexy and subversive. I think we captured the spirit of Marianne quite well!
